Merge games have been a growing trend in the mobile gaming industry, and Latin America has not been an exception. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the performance of these games during the first quarter of 2021. Here's a look at how the top five merge games fared on the Android platform in the region.

Puppy Town - Merge & Win, published by MeetJoy Studio, showed a declining trend in both downloads and weekly active users (WAUs) throughout the quarter. Starting with roughly 235K downloads and 756K WAUs in the last week of December 2020, it ended Q1 2021 with approximately 178K downloads and 539K WAUs.

Crazy Hexagon, from Lucky Game Studio CO,. Ltd., experienced a spike in downloads in mid-February, reaching over 414K before a sharp decline to approximately 24K by the end of March. WAUs peaked at around 411K in the same period, eventually decreasing to 142K.

MiniJoy Studio's Cutie Garden saw a more stable performance, with downloads increasing from 17K to a peak of over 177K in early March, then slightly receding to around 143K. WAUs mirrored this trend, starting at approximately 57K and growing to 343K before settling at 284K.

Impostor Academy－Match & Merge by CASUAL AZUR GAMES displayed a downward trajectory. The game's downloads decreased from 134K to around 19K, with WAUs following suit, dropping from 182K to roughly 45K.
